Who Retweeted This? — Retweeters Viewer, No Login

Want to know who amplified a tweet? Twitter (X) buries the retweeters list behind a login. This free tool lists the accounts that retweeted any public tweet — names, handles and follower counts — with no account required.

Paste the tweet ID (the long number after /status/ in the tweet URL).

  1. 1Copy the tweet link and take the long number after /status/.
  2. 2Paste the tweet ID and click “Show retweeters”.
  3. 3Browse the accounts that retweeted, with follower counts.

Frequently asked questions

Does this show everyone who retweeted?

It shows the first page of public retweeters. Retweets from protected accounts are not publicly visible, and the full list is available via cursor pagination on the API.

Can the retweeters see that I looked?

No. The list is read through an API — nobody is notified.

Why would I check retweeters?

It is the fastest way to find amplifiers: which big accounts shared a post, who spreads your content, or who is boosting a competitor.

Can I export retweeters for analysis?

Yes — the xAPIs retweeters endpoint returns full user objects as JSON. A free API key lets you page through and export the complete list.
