Twitter Advanced Search — Search X Without Logging In
Twitter (X) search now demands a login, and the advanced-search UI is buried. This free tool runs real advanced-search queries — including operators like from:, since:, until:, min_faves: and exact phrases — and returns the latest matching tweets without any account.
How to use
- 1Type a search query — plain keywords or advanced operators.
- 2Choose “Latest” or “Top” result ranking.
- 3Click “Search” and browse matching tweets with engagement stats.
Frequently asked questions
Which search operators are supported?
The same syntax Twitter itself supports: from:user, to:user, exact "quoted phrases", since:YYYY-MM-DD, until:YYYY-MM-DD, min_faves:N, min_retweets:N, lang:en, filter:media and boolean OR combinations.
Do I need a Twitter account to search?
No. Queries run through the xAPIs gateway server-side, so no login or account is needed.
What is the difference between Latest and Top?
Latest returns tweets in reverse-chronological order; Top ranks by engagement and relevance, similar to Twitter’s default results tab.
How far back can I search?
Use since: and until: operators to target any date range — historical tweets remain searchable as long as they are public, e.g. from:nasa since:2019-01-01 until:2019-12-31.
Can I export or automate these searches?
Yes — the xAPIs advanced_search endpoint returns the same results as JSON with cursor pagination, ideal for monitoring and research pipelines.
